It may not be the best Rallymaster replica ever built, but overall is a well made scooter with nice specs which offers me a lot of fun every time I use it. And I am trying to use it very often to be honest.
The story started 2 years ago, when i helped a good friend of mine and member of our club, to acquire this scooter in England and import it to Greece.
The scooter arrived in Athens at the end of 2012 and remained in my friend's garage, as he owns so many scooters that he had no time to use it at all. Practically he had used it only for a few miles, while the scooter came to him with about 800 miles on the clock.
Last Christmas he told me that we was thinking of selling the scooter, since he doesn't use it at all.
Then I decided to sell my standard 150Li2 so to partially fund this purchase.
Specs as foll:
GT186 kit with porcupine head and reed valve
Li125 gbox
Dellorto PHBL25 carb
AF clubman
GP crank
SIL elec ignition
SIP tubeless rims with Heidenau K38 tyres (although they do no appear in these photos)
period Smiths chrono speedo
front shocks
These photos are not very recent though, so i will try to get some fresh shots during one of my near future rides as soon as I will be out of the town
Scooter behaves very well with this setup, although the top speed is not very high (I believe due to the specific gearing) but on the other hand it is VERY quick and ideal for town use
