Hi Love the scooter I have one series 1 fully restored and one untouched so when I got a framebreather I decided to do a RAT ts1 hydraulic anti dive brake etc ..but keep the rust and knocks .....the TV is also as it come but original period accessories but the engine running gear all as it should be just little upgrade to the engine .

I like the full spectrum of what can be done to scooters from custom to original would be quite boring to have them all the same ..... but your looks quite good so for me would not restore but do you keep it standard or put bigger engine etc

I think my thoughts are just as you said at the moment, panels off leave as much as I can original, rebuilt forks, rebuild and upgrade brakes suspention and engine. On the engine front I am just weighing up 200 conversion to 150 ie weld and tap to fit big block or a small block kit. I just like the ide that you could do a full orig resto on a kit.
Cant wait to work on it, just the thought that it is basically unstripped since it left the factory 34 years ago It even has orig battery strap and concertina gear cable sleaves, albeit little disks of material as they have deteriated over the years

Well almost done few little tweaks on the jetting as got a 23m Nos carb through airbox not running well
with 42m casa clubman apart from that all working lights all back together with no dramas
