Tim

The scooter looks absolutely fantastic with amazing attention to detail, you must be and rightly so, over the moon with what has been done by RLC to bring it back to this condition.

Stunning in every respect!

Michael :) :) :)

You would have to contact RLC Ash, think they will only put them on scooters they have restored or worked on though.
I am only a very happy customer of RLC's.

Cheers Tim.

Sadly, my recent experience with another long standing dealer was not so positive. Your scoot is stunning

The original plan for RLC was to do a conserved resto, sadly it was to far gone for this

I have been wondering about this for s couple of days now (sad I know) but what was too far gone as it looks fine to me in the 1st pics

cheers

Tim ....Superb job by Rimini .....I also bit the bullet as they also did my DL 200 ..a few years ago now ...I faffed about for a few years thinking who to do the Resto ....speaking to many people on there experience's ..with engine builders and painters .....it totally put me off ....can't believe how many people get pissed about ...not just bad workmanship....but keeping people waiting forever....Rimini top Restorations ..can't fault em ...the attention to detail is brilliant....Tim are you the Guy I sent the Luton Lambretta Club Banner to?

It's all too common I'm afraid. Glad you like it.

I think it was worked out on the amount of re-painting/blowing in needed, alloy amongst other pieces were totally gone. This scooter was also purchased stripped, not fully built as in the first 3 pics.

According to RLC's website a standard restoration starts at an average minimum of £9,000

Before and after. the DL 200 on the left is mine, I say mine loosely I was fortunate to purchase one of the best DL200s out there last April from Lambretta restoration expert and BSSO racer Steve Conneely the GP200 on the right is also Steve's is the crème de la crème of Lambretta folklaw an unrestored original Welsh K redg electronic, the DL was acquired from Armandos in 99 and was restored over a 2 year period it is a testiment to Steve's skill as a restorer that after 15 years it is still in Mint condition.

Lovely scooters both of them. There are a few excellent UK restorers about, believe Steve is one of them.
Never really been taken by the original paint thing to be honest, prefer restored.
