Wanna see a TV175 series 3 project, running alongside this rebuild?

Shit happens Craig. However it's minuscule and no one apart form a right p**** is going to inspect your bike with a magnifying glass.
Just touch it up because as soon as you ride it small blemishes will be all over the leggies and mudguard anyway.

You're doing a fantastic job and we're all enjoying it, more please!

Great to see you back in full flow Craig.
The Garmin "all singing, all dancing" multi-function gizmo; is it weatheroroof? I ask because I have to put a rubber glove over all my bits on my legshield tookbox when it rains.

Terrific threads by the way.

Not Gammin Chris, it's "Gamma". Yes it is waterproof and has a touch screen. Sealed unit!

Who am I Kidding I'm gonna have to take the headset apart for repainting!

Touch it in... use it and enjoy it, then strip it and repaint if you simply cannot live with it. As already stated, nobody else would even be aware of it if you hadn't pointed it out.

Nice thread and build though :)

Definitely have to have the headset repainted now it's on my mind. Only problem is Gavey is busy! I'll have to wait!

Also I'm trying to decide the colour of the cowls, tanks, rear mudguard. I want to deviate from the black and silver. Something bright! Perhaps Porsche riviera blue?

One of my favourite colours Craig. It would look stunning as a main colour though , so seeing as your going to get your lower headset redone why not go the whole hog ! I was thinking of having that as my main colour for my DL200E a while back but chickened out in the end !

That blue looks very similar to the old Vespa PX150 blue, nice though.
