Sorry Gaz, the GF would have me believe that a 3yr old and an 8mth old are more important than Lambrettas.
Anyway, here's the issue date of the mag. 22yrs ago!
In that 22yrs a few things have changed, it's a bit of a nail and tatty. The current owner puts it in an unlocked shed and I think he only has it because it's colourful. From what I can gather he came by it in a swap for a couple of motorbikes. He hasn't a clue about Lammies at all. ...and to be fair, I don't think he can read, he can hardly talk, and is a victim of substance and alcohol abuse. Believe me, this is an odd situation.
Here's a couple of pics of its current state. The bike that is...
400x10s all round. Interesting to see bump stop still in place but modified
I put the 10p in place as it had no fuel tap what so ever. Thought old skool would suit.
Panel drilled, bent and bolted on as the mag side panel clip had broken... lazy bastads.
So there we have it. The TS200 motor is gone, an Li150 sits in it's place, 28PHBH with a PM on. The Spurgeon 'unsigned' paint is still intact and does actually look pretty good still, so credit to whoever did it. But the biggest mystery at the moment is that the TV200 that it apparently was ... is an Li3 stamped frame. If anyone from the Northants area can shed any light on the 22yrs since the article came out, I'd love to hear it.
Oh, and of course, I've got first refusal on it if the fella wants to get shot of it...
