I can still remember my first ride on a Lambretta, I was 17 and I had never ridden a scooter before.

I only managed to go about 30 feet then I came to a sudden halt as I hit a brick wall

Seem to remember getting my first scooter, a brand new Vespa 50 on a Friday and riding it round and round the block on the pavement before setting off for Skegness the next morning , that was a long ride

great pictures ...wish I had some of my Li150 back in 67.
My first ride was memorable. I remember riding round the block for ages ....unable to stop . I got into a bit of a panic cos I didn't know how to stop the thing . bit like a runnaway train really only on a scooter
