So after lots of work completed I took the TV for its Mot.

A bit gutted as it failed. :'(

Low reading on the front brake and front headlight too high.

Advisory on notchy steering.

Here it is at the Mot station

So I got home and tried adjusting the headlamp, easier said than done as it was as low as I could get it. So I've had to leave it a little loose so it will point down ish.

The front brake was my fault I avoided taking the front wheel and inboard disc apart for a service and new pads. It only read 90 on the meter. As opposed to a 200 reading on the rear.

So the front wheel is off and the hub is apart.

I've ordered some sintered pads from Scootopia.

Anyone have any advice on getting the best out of inboard disc?

Cheers Kris

With reverse pull do I have to relocate the outer cable from the headset down?

Hi kris
No you don't need to reroute the cable. Rimini do a full kit and I'm sure UK suppliers do too
I did the modification and was amazed at the difference it makes. Don't ask me why or how it works, it just does!

Also see stickys book

What he said. I did mine on a standard drum and I can now slow down and stop using my brakes rather than turning to religion.

you don't really need all these bits, but it makes it easier.

Thanks for the info guys.

I bought a reverse kit and fitted it, I'm pleased to say it passed the mot retest today.

So sending all the docs off tomorrow so it can be registered.

Hope haven't made any blinding errors.

So over the Xmas hols I've stripped the TV down and replaced all the cables. Fitted a new Scootopia Ancillotti exhaust and a new 25mm Dellorto phbl kit. It's all on and it starts first kick but just wondered about carb settings. Anyone got any advice?

Hi Kris. Have a look in the carb section on the Forum, plenty of advice on there about setting up your carb. Your Dad's Lammy had a HKA registration - which is from Liverpool. Did he live there, and do you know the rest of the registration number ?

Hi.

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately I don't know the rest of the numberplate unfortunately. All I know is he bought it new from Horsmans in Liverpool in 62-63 ish. Had it a long time then sold it as he got a car. He was from Norris Green Liverpool
