Beautiful, was it sprayed by yourself or professionally.

Thanks guys. It was painted by a car bodyshop as I didn't have the facilities to do it myself. I took all the panelwork to him and he painted it for me. He'd never done a scooter before, and as they always say, he'll never do another one !. The frame is a 1965 Spanish Li 150 that I bought off Buzzsolomoto at a parts fair many years ago ( top pic ). It was that long ago, I only paid £40 for it !. The legshields, foot boards, headset and horn cast are all original Italian parts, the front mudguard and side panels are re-made ( again from Buzz ). The engine is a GP 125, with a ported 175 top end, 26 mil Jetex and Rayspeed clubman exhaust. I will be changing the engine when I have built the replacement for it. Just had it m.o.t'd and sent all documents off to DVLA for registration.

So you couldn't have opted for the "red one" the other day then for a quick spin?
Nice job Geoff

My three. The Li I've just restored, a Jet 200 I restored about 10 years ago, and a GTS 250 thing that sneaked into the photo. I'm not restoring anymore, unless.........?
