Gp side casing

I have a series 2 crankcase in good condition and would like to up grade the clutch and crank,.. I know gp crank is not a problem but not sure if gp chain case will fit the series 2 crankcase??,.. I'm planning on 5 plate style and new crownwheel etc as I currently run in my gp,..and want similar in my series 2....thanks for any advice.

Yes you can use the GP casing, it's stronger around the kickstart boss if used in a tuned motor. If you're fitting it in a Ser 2 frame you will need a wider cranked kickstart pedal, Spaq make them and Beedspeed etc sell them
