Amal with full panel

Hi looking for advice, could I get away with using a full sidepanel with no hole, with a Amal mk1 carb if enough clearence?

i saw an amal mk 1 set up to run throungh a heavily drilled air box, so i wouldnt see why not,, mine has a lot of spit back mind so expect a messy panel.

cheers mate, I was wondering as looking at photos of the original Lowline supertune & it looks like it`s a full panel? I think I`ll give it a go!
