Can you run a 30mm Dellorto without the Anti surge plate.Thanks in anticipation.

yes but I think its too stop any bubbling / frothing of fuel in the chamber (an adult will be along shortly to confirm bud) :?

I dont think the 4 stroke PHBH 30mm we ran back in the early 80`s even had one fitted . :lol: :lol:

I did that once and it ran fine unless I was wringing it's neck, in which case it would run out of fuel after about 30 seconds on WOT. Then it would recover when I went back to half throttle.

Took me ages to work out what was wrong.

I have always wondered whether Keihins and Mikunis, certainly the smaller 24-28mm versions, would benefit from a device to minimise fuel sloshing about in quite small float chambers :idea:
