26mm Delly PHB

What manifolds for a 26mm Delly, breathing thro' the std airbox & 22mm rubber, & still wearing un-cut side cans, are you all using?
I'm using a Beedy 90 deg type one & it pushes the carb rubber out so it gets compressed by the side can  & its restricting the air-flow :(
So before I start stripping I'm seeking your advice?

well I am................. & its running fine ;) the air box is empty & drilled
there's no scope to pull back 20mm from the Beedy 90deg manifold, so I'm asking has anyone used a Jimmers type manifold in this situ, or machined a downdrafty type one to suit, or used radiator hose instead of carb rubbers to pull the 20 mm back needed to have the side cans on?
are the plastic float chambers shallower than the cast alloy ones as that fouls the TV's head cowl air scoop too!!!

Hully

I've got an RLC Maxi Flusso manifold spare which is supposed to be used with the airbox and a rubber mount PHBH. In my case it fouled the frame.

I'll happily post it to you to experiment with if you like?

cheers Warren P.M. sent
RichKTMH, I think you gave me a wobbler with the difference in float chambers, as the 25mm's floats are pivotted whilst the 26mm's slide up & down matey like the large Dellies

deep breaths Rich
took the long Mallossi UK/V**pa :o carb rubber off & replaced with the main man Broady's MBD/Racetour carb rubber, that's 10mm shorter, even tho' the float chamber touches the TV cowling's air scoop, @ least I can now ride with it's side cans on 8-) without any carb breathing probs ;) RESULT :D
