Remade SH2/22 to replace Jetex

Postby PJD » Tue Dec 01, 2015 9:12 am

I have a standard SIL 200 engine with Jetex carb, and feel it has nothing like the power of my SX 200. Many haver said the Jetex carb is rubbish and I do feel my engine is a bit rich. Have others had the same problem and has anyone replaced a Jetex with the remade SH2/22 from Scootopia? If so what are your thoughts on its performance? :?:

A properly jetted and fettled Jetex will work well but there are some poorly made ones out there. A Jetex with a slide intended for a 150 will never be right for a 200. I've not heard any reports about the Scootopia carbs yet.

Thanks. I will check the slide. It was bought claiming to be jetted for a 200 - but you never know....

I bought a new Jetex for my 200. The pilot jet had not been drilled out properly ( see my old thread ) I got the correct Delly jets for it and it is now a great little carb.
