Hi guys, my TS1 230 was dynoed fairly recently but I've never been fully happy with it. It starts from cold with no choke but once up to temp is reluctant to start. It's also very smoky (using Putoline Scooter X fully synthetic), soot up plugs and uses lots of fuel. All this obviously points to it running way too rich so I've just checked my jets and needle.
It run a Mikuni TMX35 carb open mouthed and has a 310 main, 32.5 pilot and a 6FJ40 needle top position.
Looking on the Web it seems most people running the same have a setup of 300 or 310 main, 22.5 pilot and 6EN57 or 58 needle.
Are my needle and pilot jet way too big?
Was dynoed with a TSR EVO pipe but now on a Franspeed Super Tourer.
Many thanks
