starting problem when hot

Hi all
Can anyone give me any idea into this
From cold choke and fual on scoot will start second kick when hot fuel on or off have to open throttle if you dont hit it first time you end up flooding had a new jetex 22mm carb fitted but stil does it had to take air hose of to get it started help please

The floats on these jam on the spindle. Just run a small drill through the spindle drilling in the body of the float hinge. Many of these do that but are a good little carb apart from that. There are several threads on exactly this problem.
