30mm VHSH Jetting TS1

Postby Atb Tim » Sat May 31, 2014 3:07 pm

Just swapped my TMX35 for a 30mm VHSH.
Could do with some examples of jetting as a starting point please.
It's a 225 TSI with a Franspeed pipe.

Thanks Toddy,

I assume the set up with the filter has a hole in the panel?

If it's any help to anyone my set up is:-

Tuned TS1, 30mm VHSH, NK Road pipe, No filter

Pilot 48 60
Slide 50
Needle K24
Atomiser DQ268
Main 125

I have an adjustable power jet fitted to overcome a lean spot at 3/4 throttle. I tried dozens of different needle/atomiser combinations but couldn't get rid of the leanness at 3/4 until I fitted the power jet. Hence the small main jet.

Never had any joy with DP atomisers in my TS1s always found them too rich low down.
