Sounds like you are being very cautious running in this kit Mr G. With mine I took it easy and on 4% mix for the 1st 100 miles, but still took it up through the rev ranges, and then for the next 250 miles just made sure that I didn't keep it at over 3/4 throttle for more than a few seconds but still did a couple of longish runs at around the 50-55mph range. After that I rode it like I stole it and no issues :D

Do have access to a dyno over there G or do you have to rely on plug chops and seat of the pants tuning?

Yeah should find a dyno really....but tend to do plug chops
seat of pants tuning... :D Got some lovely roads out east on
the Island where I can really 'feel' it and hear it.....long stretches
of road with NO traffic lights , dual carriage ways and no traffic .

"Seat of the pants" is far better than using a dyno for jetting in, in my oppinion.

dyno cant replicate load!

I'm up to 700 miles now, ran it in on way to Bridlington and back, last 100 miles at 60 mph. Just changed carb from 30PHBH to 30 vhsh, got to sort the exhaust as the only one I could use at the time was Taffspeed copy, NK Road/Rally going on, just hoping for some dry weather now.
