If the same thickness, shoud be ok, but check the ring ends, some cover the pegs, some curve round them :o

If I could find the online catalogue to show you the variations of ring that Wiseco manufacture, I would do so.

In other words, there are several types of profile in addition to the material to suit the variations in bore material.

Assuming the piston is an original Asso then AF might have some?

I have various NOS Wiseco pistons & rings but I'd need to check against the ring part number you require to see if I have a match.

I also have a complete IT175 piston that did about 50 miles in a TS cylinder before the owner commissioned a complete rebuild comprising a 70 mm top end. I have not looked @ it since removal to see what manufacture it is or suss out the grade, though I suppose I could get it measured

I'll have a look in my Sudco catalog and give them a ring to see if they've got any. And, they don't. They are available direct from Wiseco https://powersports.wiseco.com/wiseco-p ... -81-2598cd

They are also available on Amazon.com. https://www.amazon.com/Wiseco-374M06600 ... 900&sr=8-1

I'm pretty sure Amazon will ship international.

Are CD rings fine to run in Nikasil bores (Alloy steel, ferrox coated, chrome faced, internally notched) :?:

I thought the best choice would be the otherwise identical CDM (Nodular iron, phosphate coated, internally notched for use in • Chrome Bores)

No idea, but been running them for at least 5 years.
Haven't even stripped the engine down yet, just thought i`d look for rings now rather than later.
Got some on Amazon for £35.00
thanks to all for imput

Thankfully..... we dont have chrome bore cylinders, (which would have to be used with cast rings if we did.)
Nikasil is compatible with virtually any type of piston ring makeup. Cast rings would just wear out quicker than anything else.
