ron moss avanti 225

Need help with a tuning kit, how do you tune your scooter, which kit should I choose, and all general tuning and modifcations questions are for in here.

Yes i'm happy with it.

I think it could be tinkered with to improve the low down performance but i won't be doing that this year.

Are you at the AF do at the weekend ?

Thanks, same as mine but the needle and jets give me some ideas for experimenting....or maybe I'll just get over to the dyno :oops:

Mines running 35mm flatslide mikuni with a franspeed race and varitronic with a reinforced flywheel,4.8 gearing, the mikuni has really cleaned it up compared to the phbh that was on there.
Got to say im really pleased with this set up!!

Will be fitting a Mikuni on mine soon. What jets/settings are you using on the carb ?

Hi Mick im running 20 pilot, 58 needle 2nd clip down 260 main jet
The mikuni seems to really improved the carboration as could never get the delly right!!
