Need a new gp crankshaft for my avanti. Been using a standard crank for the last 9000 miles but it's twisted so in the market for a new one. Nothing expensive but not a cheap Indian one either. Any recommendations?

If its not going in a ott motor the mec cranks are ok , id swap the rod if higher hp although i used one in an imola with no problems. Glasgow lambretta had some deals on these with bearings and seals not long back may be worth giving them a call.

Why not try having your crank rebuilt? If the big end pin is a 22mm version, then you should find a number of suppliers who can build you a crank using a new, tighter pin that will resist twisting.

Try John Howe at Jahspeed.

Scooter Restorations sil with Japanese bearing.
£80 last time I got one.
The rods not pretty but I ran one in my 20+ Avanti with no issues. Also in standard Ts1.
