corrado wrote:Probably due to the large amount of big block kits available on the market and the clamor for high dyno figure readings, ie bragging rights in the pub, after all nobody wants to admit that their new kit only produces 14 bhp and costs as much as a TS1. However that doesn't tell the full story of how good the kit is based on the design principles, ie it was designed to do what a standard 200 engine does but slightly better [about 30%] in all departments while utilising standard, crank, carb and exhaust but with added bonus of Nicasil. If you listed the dyno figures from every kit at 5,000 rpm in 4th gear then the Casa 210 would be close to the top. It's a definite "horses for courses" kit. Shame that I could never get any supply of these kits.

It was never gonna set the world on fire.......but it was never meant to.. It has 150 inlet stud spacings for one. My friend did the euro on it last year with mates on ts1's etc and as they were cruising he was able to run with them at 60 mph plus all day with no cooling issues. However his bike did it on half the fuel and oil that they did. After doing this he had it dynod and it produced 10 or 11 bhp, so he decided he wasn't happy and changed to another kit So if you want my opinion........NO DYNO...........NO PROBLEM.!!!

I'd say that was a result. Everybody is different, but rideability and practicality are right up there for me. Curious that it's got the 150 stud spacing though. That has to restrict it.
