JL3 rear mount

Postby Feersum Injun » Mon Mar 06, 2017 11:40 pm

I recently acquired a used JL3 pipe but I don't have the spacer tubes and bolts for the rear fixing mount to the crankcase. Can anyone tell me the length of the spacer and bolt or where I could get them?? Cheers...

K2 custom had some very tasty universal tail can brackets on his stall at Wicksteed at the weekend, with the spacers built in.

Maybe Keith Newman will post a photo on here later.

I copied a system shown on here of using the bracket supplied but modified to secure these types of Exhausts to the Lower shock mount and have also done this with the NK I was using recently, very secure indeed

I'd already ordered the spacers but will investigate these other options... any chance of a photo of the fixing to the shock mount? Cheers

Nick, it's worth carrying spare spacers and bolts as they can come loose .

Sorry Nick Unhelpful I know but I took it off last week to fit my B-Race Stealth Exhaust to use for the Euro, I think the post on here was lost in the LCGB site crash of a few years ago, anybody else use this fix- to- shock mount system got a Photo?
Cheers
