Nile Green TV175 series 3?

Postby henrun » Mon Mar 13, 2023 7:38 pm

My 1963 Italian market TV175 series 3 appears to have Nile green paint under its current silver incarnation. Looks original and the panels still have their sound deadening paint so I believe they are original to my TV. Anyone seen Nile green on an original TV 3 before?

If they're the LI style panels rather than those with flashes, I'd wager they've just been replaced from an LI.

What about the horncast; particularly behind it?

Don’t think they are off an Li because of the sound deadening paint. Might take off the horncast this weekend

Got pics of an original paint nile green/ white TV175 I owned a few years ago, can't figure out getting them on here though.
Happy to email them if anyone knows how to do it.

Looks fantastic. I guess most Lambretta paint guides will need updating.

Thanks to John for the images and info. Looks like my TV could have been Nile green originally after all.
