Just stripping the 150 Special motor which hasn't been apart since new by the look of it inside the casing. For something that's done 61000 k the only wear was to the chain and top guide and .5mm on the gear endfloat. The crank seals were rock hard and needs a crank rebuild , top end has a newish Asso 57.8mm piston with thick rings so just a clean up should do. Interestingly the gearbox has the late thick 3rd loose gear but the cluster is drilled for the pressure plate which according to Sticky book it shouldn't? I'll be changing the Dansi flywheel though as it shows movement between the boss and casting. Is it possible to mix a Dansi stator with a Ducati flywheel or will I need a Ducati stator as well? Sorted ,just lathed the centre out on the stator.
