My best mate did his apprenticeship under the son of John Houslander who wrote a lot of those articles, John is sitting on the scooter in the "shattering special" feature.
I lost touch with the Houslanders then bumped into them at a christening. His son agreed to mention my interest to John for a possible article but John sadly died.
