Need help with a tuning kit, how do you tune your scooter, which kit should I choose, and all general tuning and modifcations questions are for in here.

Which clutch to buy

Postby superhooper » Sun May 21, 2023 9:52 pm

Hi peeps, i need to buy a new complete clutch set up.
I have decided on either the AF road clutch or the Readspeed Red Devil.
The scooter puts out around 20hp & 20 torque.
Anyone that uses either off these, your opinions would be welcomed.
PS i i don't want to be pissing about fiddling to make it work, just fit & go.

Thanks, Super

There are minor pro's and con's but essentially either one will do.
You'll need to tell the supplier if its for a GP or Li chaincase cover.

Just seen this post and for my ten pence worth, never toss a coin as it'll never land the side yer want. But seriously I do know the readspeed 6 plate red devil is a good piece of kit, however I have the AF cassette clutc in my ts1 s type and gt 200 motor. Both have been in 6 and 5 years respectively and have never caused any grief, I love em. When I build my rapido 225 I shall be fitting a third one. Hope this helps, cheers, Speedy

Ordered red devil from Readspeed last night but speaking to them today they informed me they are out of stock and there may be a wait for more to come in.
Now ordered from Torbay as it says they have them on web. Fingers crossed.

Cheers Super
