This is what i get when I try to upload a pic using the forum 'upload attachment' option,
I have probably reached the maximum value that I could use,how can I (or any moderator) upgrade my account to a bigger value (volume) ?

It isn't an individual thing it's across the whole board.

There is only a limited amount of space for attachments which is why hosting pictures elsewhere, Photobucket, Flicker etc is a good idea.

Linking to your pictures uses no more than a few characters of text.

I'm believe most boards use attachments to store avatars which are but a few kb's.

I'm sure Mr. XS will be along to put me right if that isn't the case.

thank you Linda and eveyone for your explanations and increasing the image quota.
Like others I am not particularly keen to share personal and private photo albums with all and sundry so prefer to upload from my drive.
I appreciate bandwidth costs money but hope that our subscriptions should cover a reasonable amount of image hosting provided image sizes are not exceeded This is the only forum that I pay to access ,all the others are free and have no image quota limits
