This year we used a different venue it was a lot more intimate and atmospheric than the previous one and feedback was good but I think it was the whippet training on site that tipped the scales in favour of the new venue .
A nice relaxing Saturday day turned into a lively Saturday night. "The Score" did 2 fantastic sets with the help of our very own dazzler singing his version of "Going Underground" all this topped of with the LCGB's finest Mr Collins on the decks who kept the dance floor full. Friday night we had Abba and Elvis, Saturday night bought us Slade and Sex Pistols) awesome combination of music !!!!! Thank you
WSSC and friends decided to purchase £20 worth of raffle tickets - whilst eating 10 bags of chips - and any prizes won (which there were 2) would be auctioned off for more charity money. Dazzler paid £45 for a £50 AF voucher and Andy Vass paid £20 for a mystery bag which contained 4 pair of work socks. In the end we managed to raise £432 from the raffle and auction which will be shared equally between EM Air Ambulance and Cancer Re-asearch. That's all thanks to Sue Moffatt for pestering the traders for prizes, Vicki Swinge and her side kick Leah for doing the selling Top girls all of you x
