Wack, Did you cure the leak between the liner and the alloy?
I've resurrected this thread ( probably should have started a new one as the title is misleading in relation to my point) as I had a little nip up on my way back from Llandudno/ Anglesey at the weekend and have stripped the top end. I did a leak test beforehand and there was a slight leak at the back of the manifold and the pressure pretty much held constant but dropped over 10 mins or so at a very slow rate. I cross hatched the piston where it caught and cleaned up the Barrel. Put it back together and did another leak test. Same again. On closer inspection its actually a tiny single hole in the joint that Lloyd refers to in his quote above. Anyone ever cured it?
