Bear in mind adding the filter is likely to richen it further.

Moral of the story is search the forums and don't put the needle on top of the plate as Warkton says
Now fitted latest Casatronic with "sport" cdi designed for use with an expansion, so put it on with a clubman :?
Obviously not right and starts holding back and spluttering on full throttle, might also be main jet.
Well impressed with rt kit though. Have tea strainer on it.
Got to Sandford and back 500 miles between quarter and half throttle.
Will be fitting Stratos Montellery expansion and getting it dynoed.

I would suggest you look at your cdi rather than your carb in this instance.

Thank you for your acknowledgement, though many have made the same mistake.

I have a couple of the Dell'Orto PH range carbs that I will probably never use because I believe that there are much better products.

For far less than the cost of a new PH slide, the PWK carbs are available & I would suggest they are far superior. Polini have committed to manufacturing their own version, as fitted to paraglide engines, but there are OKO, Stage6 etc or the Chinese copies which can be obtained for not much more than a tenner, though I would urge anybody to "blueprint" any carb following the many guides on t'internet.

Despite some negative opinions about them, they are a doddle to set up, have anti-flood built in & work extremely well with an adequate air filter. Recently, I built up a 34 mm intending to use for a large piston port engine, but curiosity got the better of me, so I put it on a newly built TS, tuned 70 x 60, albeit with my own adjustable power jet turned off. It started on it's first half-hearted kick & sounds really fit...... :D
