Somewhere down the A30 near Indian Queens mid afternoon after a wheel change on mine at honiton. We had some heavy Rain showers on route but just pressed on thinking "things can only get better"
Oh how wrong could we be !!

We take up our place under the well know pitcure post

Assembly time for the brave

Toot and michael looking fresh despite having ridden down over the previous days.

Were all away 8am sharp, an by the time we get 10mls out of StIves we hit the monsoon that stays over head most of the day..
After a long miserable wet days ride, we arrived at Leamington fc Warwickshire and signed off. On arrival at our digs micky had a broken end can bracket to change so that done and wet gear hung up drying we headed out for food

Morning arrives all too soon and Doms made a Nest

Not much to report today only Doms throttle cable snapped, and the weather was kinder to us
And heres a big thanks to Kirstie bond for offering to be backup in the lcgb spares van.
Lucky for us and as allways we were at the back of the pack who do we spy coming over the horizon but kirstie.. With new cable fitted we all headed through the glen co mountains.
To fort william.
Our digs for the night were at a log cabin holiday park.. Again no frills just good value

First stop tday was the Commando memorial

1st fuel stop in this retro Station

As we rode along Lock Ness look who we saw coming up for a breather

After the lovely start the weather gods are upon us again

Pressing on to the finish we hit some of the worst weather the big man could bestow upon us, But with the finish line in sight we just huckered in and plodded along..
After a couple on emergency fuel stops along the A9 and trying to avoid the grim weather, plus calling into wick airport to sort our van out for the trip home later that evening.
We ended up being passed by everyone even Kirstie.
So we were the last to arrive at John O Groats but everyone had waited for us and greated us with a big cheer..
Not wanting to delay anyone further We headed straight for the finish pole and pics
