I have one fitted with my reed valved RT kit, yes it was a pain but as has been suggested already, the tap lever sits in front of the choke lever, resting almost on top of the carb itself, in fact you can't remove the carb without disconnecting the tap it runs straight across right through the middle of everything if you can see what I mean. I was worried it wouldn't work and everything was a bit of a tight fit but it does, no problems with several long distance rallies under its belt it's worth it. A brilliant set up with great performance, doesn't drink or spit fuel either, whether at 50 or well in excess of 70 mph unlike most of the guys i'm riding with or my other scoots running TMX's and Delly's.
