Sticky -yes I do love gadgets it must be said.
I did the old plastic bag/made up mount bit when I started with sat nav then progressed through the cheaper ones but only the dedicated TT rider (new version) holds a charge long enough and is basically fit n forget as it's being used for it's intended and designed purpose in my own experience, it can be used with gloves on and in the pouring rain without fretting it'll pack up - Icertainly wouldn't use my iPhone in a 'waterproof' case instead!
It's the reassurance of being able to know speed/miles left/arrival time and where the nearest petrol station/services etc is in an emergency that I like and now I've had one for many years I wouldn't be without it.
The GP has a dedicated mount and so does my X10 (that I'm on today).
