Hello.
The stator was set and strobbed as it had slipped a few degrees and was well off.
I hadn't fitted the second earth as I thought the stator earthed; it does but an extra earth was fitted from the CDi unit to the flywheel cowling.
Plug was changed from a 7ES to an 8ES
Then some dyno & jetting.
I'd been running very lean as I have fitted a fast through mesh air-filter and a drilled out late S3 air box, I probably only need one of these things on an iron 175, if any...
jetting was quite severe!

I was also advised to tighten the u-bend (which I did) - I cannot get to the AFC exhaust bolts without removing the cowl so as to facilitate using a spanner (due to the u-bend curving over the bolts so socket access is impossible on LHS) so I am thinking of changing the U-bend and cutting the cowl for access.
The change is immense, outcome is I should have had it set-up long ago, as I often don't know as much as I think I do
