Would love to stop the fuel leaking from the cap .

I've got 2 standard tanks and 1 Oiltek, all with standard fuel caps and never had an issue with any of them, even when filled right to the brim

For sure, not everybody does have problems with tank caps. My own have been few, thankfully.
However, wherever the problem arises, those of us that have been less fortunate can only try & pitch in with suggestions that we hope will help.

For sure, not everybody does have problems with tank caps. My own have been few, thankfully.

I guess what I was alluding to was that the fault is more likely to be the after market tank as opposed to the standard Lambretta fuel caps which the OP was suggesting was the problem, as I haven't had any issues with standard caps
