Great ride again, missed a bit of the morning as set of on a velocette viceroy Only to have a crank seal go pop. Swoped scooters for my tatty but faithful rumi, we got to derby too late for the snake pass stuff but joined in at castleton. Fellow Peterborough travellerTerry and myself both enjoyed the roads and views.. Got to say this event is incredible value for money. We will be back for a third time if it is hopefully organised. Well done to everyone involved.

We saw him twice, on both the outward and homeward legs...can't remember the exact locations though

Check out Phil Deakin on face book, He's posted 150 photos from the event....managed to miss me both times it seems :(

Great event, shame about the weather. I would like to thank all the people who stopped to offer help when my blue GP stopped with broken piston rings just before Castleton. Big thanks to Paul Price for going round the route and picking me and three others up; would have been stuck without you. Roll on the next one.

Now then Martin we did indeed have a photographer on the Via Gelia road. Once Linda has been through and taken any she might want for JetSet, and I'm back from me hols, I'll post a link for the rest 8-)

Brilliant week-end with many thanks to all that were involved in the organization
Also thought the rugby club did a very good job with staff levels, avoiding any queues at the bar

:?:
One request - did anyone get a picture of the silver two tone SX, plus after the owners name if possible
Got some inspiration for my GP respray, and wish I'd taken some pictures of the SX.. :(
mean't to trawl around the campsite Sunday morning to get some pictures, but got distracted packing gear away, etc..

That's my SX. It's Rover X Power grey with silver flashes in roughly Super Tune style. Dave Diickinson sprayed it for me in 2010. Let me know if you need any other info.

ably led by Linda we did ride the entire course
obviously we won't mention a missed turn within the first two miles [when Linda wasn't leading]...

I'll second that! A superb Pathfinder General!

Or 3 of us misinterpreting her rotating hand signal as keep on going rather than turn around lol. Still it gave me a chance to bond with Robbie and Andy BLC for an hour or so and get some nice photos 8-)

Rspect to rob miller, takes some balls to use something that special on a wet event.
