Lambretta Colours

While this is not a definite list of the correct colours, it goes a long way to helping us all identify that common question.

What colour was my Lambretta?
How ever there are some mistakes, i.e. if you look under the 125 D/LD listing it lists a 1959 colour. This cannot be so as the production of the machine had finished by then. BUT this is, as far as I know, the colours or as close as you could get, to being correct for each model. If you do find or know any other colour codes or details, we would be pleased to hear from you. Again not all of these colours would have applied to your machines, as different importers had different specifications. Basically the list below os known colours from the factory, Lambretta Concessionaires in the UK quite often had machine paint colours changed over here and we have no listings for those colours. The list is not complete, but the results of re-search so far.

Under the heading of 'Other Manufactures Codes' these are where a replacement has been found. This replacement may not be to original spec, but it is considererd a good match. RAL codes are standard British paint codes, and as such you should be able to find this in many different types of paints. If you can help fill in any details, please please, contact us. The Lechler codes, can be matched by modern paint suppliers, this is the last contact details I have for the company!
